Coach:
· Attend Coaches clinics on Saturday October 1st and Saturday October 15th from 10am to 3pm at the SLC.
· Primarily responsible for organize/oversee the practices and games, including determining age appropriate skill, drills and game positions.
· Understands and supports league goals and philosophy, and imparts these to parents and players. The goals of the SZRB's Indoor Soccer League are FUN, exercise, making new friends and having new experiences, and enjoying the game of soccer in a positive, sportsmanlike manner, skills development.
· Distribute jerseys to players and return any extras to the coordinator.
· Represents and organizes team on game days. This includes monitoring substitutions and playing time to ensure equal play time for all team members.
· Sets an example for players in regards to sportsmanship, fairness and equal play.
· U4 and U6: The commitment for coaches is essentially 1 hour a week.
· U8 to U19 The commitment is one game time plus one practice time per week.
· U12 - U19 coaches are responsible for returning soccer balls and cones to the Coordinator after the team’s last game.
· U4 -U8 return all equipment to the equipment box/bags.
· There will be no cancellation of games or practices. If there is a poor turnout, please take advantage of the gym time for our goal of physical fitness.
Assistant Coach:
· Assists the Coach in all of the above duties and steps in as coach in their absence.
· Attend the Training Night on October 23, 2015 at 7pm at the SLC.
Set Up and Take Down:
· If you as a parent are not able to help out with any of the above then this is where your participation is required.
· The home team of the first game or practice of the day will assist with setting up the facility. The home team playing the last game/practice of the day will assist with putting all the chairs and equipment away.
