Brain Health Exercise
Brain Health Exercise includes a program called Ageless Grace®. It is a brain-body exercise program based on stimulation of neuroplasticity to support cognitive health and activates all five primary functions of the brain.
This class will be offered:
Wednesday’s, 9:00am - 10:00am
Starting October 13 - December 15, 2021
Location: South Leisure Centre Art Room
No equipment needed! We will be seated in chairs for the entire class.
Cost (with community membership): $75.00
Cost (without community membership): $80.00

- Helps to restore and maintain neural pathways and stimulates the creation of new ones.
- There are 21 tools of the program, which are based on the cutting-edge concept of neuroplasticity - the ability of the brain to change structurally and functionally.
- Each tool addresses a primary factor commonly related to physical aging.
- The program is practiced in a chair, to challenge the brain to figure out how to do these activities seated rather than standing, while engaging the core muscles, and internal systems and organs of the body.
- Anyone, at any age, including those with physical limitations and challenges, can participate at his or her own level of ability.

Covid-19 Guidelines:
- Must maintain social distance of 6ft apart throughout the class. Chairs for the class will be set up for social distancing, and will be sanitized after use.
- Hand sanitizer will be provided and is required to use upon entering the room.
- Masks are are required to be worn at all times.
- If you are feeling unwell or are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms (fever, cough, sore throat, respiratory illness, difficulty breathing), you will be asked to not attend class.
