July and August
Pickleball is a paddle sport played with a whiffle ball on a badminton-sized court with a tennis-style net. A non-volley zone (or kitchen) prevents volleys close to the net, and the serving team cannot volley the return of serve. These unique rules favour players with less mobility and allow older players to compete successfully with younger competitors.
Pickleball Regina will partner with the South Zone Recreation Board to offer drop-in Round Robin play every Monday evening in July and August from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at a cost of $5/night. All players must also hold a valid community association membership ($5).
Location:
Lakeview Courts
Kings Road & McCallum Avenue (adjacent to the Lakeview Par 3 Golf Course)
Adult players of all skill levels are welcome. Nets and balls are provided. Loaner paddles are available.
